Terms and Conditions

By taking part in any Walk & Talk for Men activity, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Participation and Responsibility

All participants attend and take part in Walk & Talk for Men activities entirely at their own risk. Walk & Talk for Men is run on the basis of a group of individuals coming together to walk and talk in a supportive, informal environment, similar to friends meeting for a walk.

Walk & Talk for Men does not employ qualified walking guides, outdoor instructors, or first aiders for its events.

Liability

Event organisers and walk leaders accept no responsibility for any loss, damage, accident, injury, or illness suffered by participants, whether during the walk itself or while travelling to or from the event, however caused.

By joining a walk, you confirm that you understand and accept these terms and that no legal liability is accepted by the organisers or walk leaders in the event of accident or injury.

Personal Safety and Equipment

Outdoor walking activities may require suitable clothing and equipment, such as appropriate footwear and weatherproofs. These are not provided by Walk & Talk for Men. Participants are responsible for ensuring they are adequately prepared, that their equipment is suitable, and that they assess their own ability to take part safely.

Any medical condition or health concern that may affect your participation should be disclosed to the walk leader before the walk begins.

While no responsibility or liability is accepted, the walk leader or event host reserves the right, at their discretion, to refuse participation if they believe an individual is not suitably equipped or if conditions make participation unsafe.

Dogs

Well-behaved dogs are welcome on walks but must be kept under close control at all times and on a lead where requested or where necessary. Legal responsibility for any incident involving a dog remains entirely with the dog’s owner.

Age Limit

Participants must be aged 18 or over.

Accessibility and Inclusion

Walk & Talk for Men does not discriminate against any participants. However, we may not always be able to meet specific or complex access requirements. Every reasonable

effort will be made to make walks and post-walk refreshments as accessible as possible.

Photography and Recording

Walk & Talk for Men may take photographs or recordings during events for communication, promotional, or marketing purposes. By attending, you consent to the use of your image for these purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform the Walk & Talk for Men team before the event or at the start of the walk.

Misc

Please aim to arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time. Walks leave promptly at the advertised time, and we are unable to provide location details or wait once a walk has begun.
